Jimmy helps our team work their best. He makes sure our office is a welcoming, productive environment and keeps things ticking along in the background.

His vast experience across the tech and arts sectors has seen him hold various roles, including People Lead at Xero, Practice Coach at Optimal Workshop, and Operations Manager at Rubber Monkey. His biggest project to date was organising the UX New Zealand conference, where he was across every aspect of the event — a massive job!

Originally from Whanganui, he’s lived in Wellington most of his life, including gaining a BA in Film and Theatre, Post-Graduate Diploma in German, and TESOL certificate from Te Herenga Waka — Victoria University of Wellington. He has also had stints living in Melbourne and Berlin.

In his spare time you might find him onstage in a local theatre show, or in his kitchen baking up a storm.
