Large content projects are Virginia’s superpower. Taxonomies and data structures bring her uncanny joy. She can whip a 10,000 plus page website into a navigational breeze. One eye on the big picture, the other on rogue commas.

A Master in Information Studies, Virginia spent 10 plus years in the GLAM sector —  that’s Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums, not sequinned rock. She cut her content teeth on online encyclopedia Te Ara, was Digital Manager at Auckland Museum, and has led some neat national endeavours. Among them the WW100 website. A fellowship in New York saw her explore audience-centred digital media in education and museums.

Virginia’s idea of heaven? Sitting on a sun soaked couch, flicking through Home magazine.  Wellington Waterfront with her daughter is her other happy place — especially when little blue penguins (kororā) are about.
